All games consist of7-minute quarters. Half time is 5 minutes long. |

Overtime periods are 2 minutes long. Each overtime begins with a jump ball. Each team is allowed two 30-second and two 60-second time-outs in regulation play. |

Each team will receive one 60-second timeout per overtime. |
 |
All technical fouls result in 2 points plus the ball at mid-quart for the non-offending team. |

Coaches are required to remain seated during the game, except to signal players to call a time- out, replace a disqualified player, tend to an injured player, or confer with players during time- outs and intermissions. Due to space limitations, there will be no coach's box. Coaches in violation of this rule will be given one warning per game. After a warning has been given, all subsequent violations will result in a technical foul on the coach. |

No half-court zone defenses are allowed in 6th grade games. Sixth grade teams must play man- to-man defense in the half court. Players are allowed to switch or leave their man to double team, triple team, etc. |

Sixth grade teams can press the entire game. Full court presses can be man-to-man or zone. However, if a zone press is used, the team must fall back into a half-court man-to-man defense. |

All defenses and presses are allowed at the 7th and 8th grade level. |

Any team at any level that is ahead by 20 or more points may not press. If this rule is violated, the coach will receive one warning per game. Subsequent violations will result in a technical foul on the coach. |

No dunking is allowed at any time including warm-ups. Each offense will result in a technical foul on the offending player. |
 |
Warm-ups will be a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes (except before the first game of the day), with game officials determining the amount of time allotted. |

Teams must supply their own warm-up balls. Referees will select a game ball from one of the warm-up balls. |

Teams are required to be at their game site 20 minutes ahead of scheduled start time. Games may start early whenever possible. |
 |
Please keep all liquids off the playing floors. Food will be available between games at concession stands. |
